Clarks Cottage offers outstanding self-catering accommodation only a gentle 5-minute walk from Dent. Based just south of Sedbergh in a glorious part of the Yorkshire Dales, we are perfect for an idyllic break in Lancashire.
Our gorgeous, detached stone holiday cottage is nestled in a stunning setting, offering spectacular views across Dentdale. The cottage has been finished to a high standard and includes exposed beams and natural stonework.
Inside the cottage, there is a first-floor living room with a lovely open plan sitting/dining room with a multi-fuel stove, solid oak floor and television (limited channels). Double doors lead out onto the patio and garden. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen which has an electric double oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
The beautiful master bedroom is on the first floor and comes with a comfy king-size bed and en suite shower room. On the ground floor, there are 4 attractive bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin room, plus 2 further double rooms with en suite showers room. On the first floor, there is a fabulous bathroom with a WC, bath and separate shower. 2 of the double rooms also have en suite bedrooms.
Outside there is a large patio and garden, plus a patio with a table and chairs for alfresco dining in the evening sun.
Right on our doorstep, there are scenic riverside walks, picturesque country lanes and winding footpaths leading to the Yorkshire Dales Hills and Fells. The Three Peaks of Ingleborough, Pen-y-Ghent and Whernside are perfect for hikers and the village of Dent has shops, tea rooms, craft shops and country inns which serve good food. You can also visit Fountains Abbey and the Ribblehead Viaduct.
