Four cosy and comfortable holiday cottages in Cumbria's Eden Valley, located in the village of Gamblesby, near Penrith. Church Court Cottages are ideally situated between the Lake District National Park and the North Pennies Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and UNESCO Global Geopark. All the cottages benefit from Wi-fi with good internet connection. Short breaks are available all year.

THE BARN:
Upstairs – a large open plan kitchen/diner/lounge with original beams and wood-burning stove. Offers beautiful views across the North Pennine fells.
Downstairs – 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin). Bathroom with Shower.
Electric cooker & hob. Microwave, Fridge/freezer. Dishwasher. Washing Machine. TV & DVD Player. Fully heated throughout with log burner in the lounge.

HAWTHORNE COTTAGE:
The former piggery - all on the ground floor. Bedroom with king-size bed. . Comfortable lounge with sofa bed – can sleep two additional guests. TV & DVD Player.
Large fully-equipped kitchen/diner. Electric cooker & hob. Microwave, Fridge/freezer. Dishwasher. Washing Machine. Bathroom with bath and shower over. Fully heated throughout with a log burner in the lounge.

HERDWICK COTTAGE:
Originally the farm's granary and definitely showing a 'Herdy' theme – after the region's iconic sheep, the upstairs has a double bedroom with original beams and an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower over.
Downstairs – cosy kitchen/lounge/diner with TV and DVD player and some exposed stonework. . Electric cooker & hob. Microwave, Fridge/freezer. Dishwasher. Fully heated throughout.

HELM COTTAGE:
This cottage, originally a stable, has a wealth of original beams and exposed red sandstone walls.
Upstairs – A king bedroom with a small seating area. Ensuite shower room with WC. Views across the North Pennine fells.
Downstairs – a large kitchen/diner/lounge with a log-burning stove. Electric cooker & hob. Microwave, Fridge/freezer. Dishwasher. Fully heated throughout. TV.

FEATURES:
Dog-friendly, off-street parking, outdoor area with tables, garden, children welcome, Wi-Fi, Freeview TV, excellent walking and cycling. 45 minutes drive to Hadrian's Wall and 40 minutes to Keswick. Electricity, towels and linen included.
