The Lordleaze Hotel, once an 18th Century farmhouse, is a fine country hotel offering the finest bed and breakfast accommodation with a warm and friendly atmosphere set in a secluded area of Chard, Somerset.

The hotel has an array of en suite bedrooms that are ideal for a long holiday or just a night away. All bedrooms are double or twin-bedded and available for single occupancy, there are ground-floor bedrooms, a room with disabled facilities, family rooms and a 4-poster bedroom.

All of our rooms are en suite with tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, Smart TV, Free Wi-fi Access, Iron & Board, and a hearty breakfast

Good quality local produce cooked well is the essence of our kitchen, using the finest ingredients. You can tuck into gastropub classics in front of the open fireplace or dine in the restaurant, offering fabulous views over the garden. In the summer, you can dine outside, with a fabulous stone-baked pizza from our wood fire oven available.

The Lordleaze Hotel can cater for weddings, private parties, conferences and meetings, please enquire for details.

Bristol, Exeter, Taunton and Yeovil are all within a comfortable drive, as are the Fleet Air Arm and Hayes Motor Museum. There are many historic houses and gardens to visit in the area. However, don't miss Chard's own museum with its display of John Stringfellow's first powered aeroplane. Chard, where John Stringfellow invented the first powered aeroplane, is situated on the A30 London-Exeter road and just a few miles from junction 25 on the M5 at Taunton.

We are approximately halfway between Marble Arch & Land's End! Exit the A303 at Ilminster and head for Chard - a perfect stop off or centre for touring.
