As a person who loves animals and the environment I am very concerned about the wildfires that are threatening our planet, such as the wildfires in California and Australia that destroy the food sources and homes of animals in these parts of the world.
The wild fire that decimated the continent of Australia in 2019 should have taught us a lesson but it obviously as we continue to live our lives that heats up the planet and creates lack of rainfall.
In Australia and South Africa we have less and less rainfall. The combination no rain and intense heat could spark wildfires caused by the lightening striking the ground which is tinder dry and the dry vegetation burns quickly and many animals are killed in the blaze. We saw the attempts to help Koalas which were injured in the blazes.
We need to be aware of the fragility of nature and we need to prevent the heating up of our planet and the lack of rain over our lands.
Putting animals first to save ourselves may sound selfish but we are reliant on animals to survive on this planet. We are nothing but an animal, in reality, so unless we care about our animals partners we will be at risk of loosing everything that keeps us alive too.
Put animals first as they are important to our survival.
