Church Cottage is a dog friendly holiday home located in Morston near Holt, Norfolk. This traditional flint cottage is adjacent to a Grade II Listed All Saints Church and is in a peaceful and relaxing location, perfect for those who are looking for a restful break away.
The cottage enjoys a cosy feel and is equipped to a high standard. Surrounding the cottage is gorgeous countryside, perfect for an idyllic getaway.
The main sitting room is a lovely place to unwind after a day exploring. Inside there are two deep sofas with an open log fire, console table, music system with iPod dock and a selection of coastal coffee table books for you to dip into. The well-equipped kitchen has a double oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, DAB radio, toaster, kettle and filtered water on tap.
The utility has a washing machine and tumble dryer whilst the larder offers a second fridge, freezer, vacuum and household items. A family room comes with a widescreen TV with HDTV, Sky, DVD, iPod/iPad dock plus a selection of family games. French doors lead out onto the patio, great for a coffee in the morning sun.
There are 4 bedrooms in the holiday cottage; master bedroom with super king size bed, guest bedroom with a super king size bed, a twin room and a bunk room with adult-sized bunk beds. All the beds have high-quality pocket sprung mattresses. The family bathroom has a large double ended bath, drench shower, WC and washbasin.
The enclosed garden is perfect for children and your two-legged friends. Two patio areas come with a table and chairs, whilst a BBQ is great for al fresco dining. The boatshed garage has table tennis and pool tables plus an extensive selection of buckets, spades, beach accessories, crabbing nets and lines. The bothy houses dry logs for the wood burner and adjacent outdoor dog kennel (daytime use only).
The Anchor pub is just around the corner and the coastal path and seal trip ferries to Blakeney Point from Morston Quay are a short 5 minute walk. Great attractions to visit include:
