The Full Moon in Libra will be in her full glory on April 6th! This Full Moon is in opposition with Chiron, the Wounded Healer. Moon's energy can bring to the surface our old deeply hidden wounds, that were difficult to come to terms with. Chiron helps us to understand how these wounds shape our lives. The major gift of Chiron is a guidance to reconcile and heal our pains in order to live wholesome lives. Libra, as a symbol of harmony and balance, reminds us that any healing process starts with self-love that embraces all our wounds and transmutes them into gifts of wisdom and grace. Understanding and raising above our wounds, help us to recognize pains of others and extend our compassion to harmonize our relationships with the world around us.
The name for this Full Moon came from the pink wild ground phlox, the first blooming flowers in early spring. It was also called as the Egg Moon or the Fish Moon. As usual, I bring you the April Full Moon names from several Native American tribes:
