Seriously significant day!
Today is Shelly's birthday, the birth date of my oldest daughter. She is the second oldest in our blended family of four daughters. For security reasons, I won't be posting her age online.
Shelly is out of town for a few days. We are celebrating Sharon Stearn's birthday tonight, with (what I hope will be) a good Italian dinner. None of us is any part Italian, but that won't stop the feasting.
My work remains "steady". I clipped the big doodle Sadie yesterday, as I'd had a cancellation. Aside from the usual pet care, I had some odd tasks like unpacking a couple of new "cots" that arrived, though I didn't get these assembled.
I also baked Italian/French style bread and a small cake.
Am juggling jobs, as it goes.
It is getting busy again in the kennels. At the moment, we have Sadie, Juno, Stanley, and Casey, with four more due to arrive. Minna was here for the day yesterday and will be back today.
Sadie is bigger than she appears on her cot in this photo.
She's bigger than Mica, who is 70+ pounds
Ambassador Smokey is as composed as a cat can be.
Yetta is composed, too!
Onward and upward! Have a lovely day.
