Monday was beautiful and just busy enough.
I didn't get a photo of 'Chanel', the pretty little tortoiseshell coloured cat I groomed. I finessed a couple of matts from her coat and, as per owner's request, bathed her.
The little thing growled in protest but never once lashed out with claws or tried to bite.
Casey arrived for a few days, then Spike the Jack Russell terrier just for overnight. The other Spike will visit today too: he's a loveable lapdog.
Stella, Katie, Lucy, Dewey, Knight and Koda went home in the evening. We are back to eight dog guests: Dexter, Cash, Casey, Spike, other Spike, Duke, Lady and Tilly. No cats are boarding, and of course we're "down to" four of our own: Smokey, Sam, Flurry and Yetta. Mica is the ambassador for the entire place.

The only messy parts of the garden are my two rows of perennials and tulips at the front. Gary "runs a tight ship" otherwise…

Yesterday, I was in town at the little house for a short time, folding some bedding and giving the place the once-over before the next guests. I should spend some more time there tidying the yard: the landscaping is s pretty simple but needs some tweaking/weeding. I pay someone else to mow. I love that property but it's hard for me to get there and stay for long.
Have a lovely day! I hope if you're not happy and healthy that life will get better.
