Dickinson Place Holiday Cottages offers luxury self catering holiday cottages in Allonby. These Cumbrian cottages are in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and are perfect for exploring Maryport and the wider area.
The 6 holiday cottages are set in a tranquil courtyard. Each holiday cottage is unique in character and has been imaginatively converted. Great care has been taken to preserve original features in many of the properties, including cobbled walls, old workings and vaulted ceilings complemented by oak beams.
The smallest cottage sleeps 2 and the largest cottage sleeps 6. All the cottages including a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven ceramic hob, microwave and undercounter fridge/freezer. Some cottages include a dishwasher. Each cottage has a living area with a TV with Freeview, DVD player, CD player, radio and Bluetooth.
All the bedrooms come with Sealy Posturepedic mattresses. They offer a welcome pack of wine, luxury biscuits and milk.
Turnip House
Sleeps 3 in in 1 king and 1 single room. The bathroom has a bath with shower and there is a ground floor WC.
Barley Cottage
Sleeps 5 in 1 king, 1 twin and 1 single. The bathroom has a cast iron claw foot bath and there is a separate shower cubicle.
Engine House
Sleeps 6 in 1 king en suite, 1 double and 1 twin. There is a bathroom with a cast iron claw foot bath and a downstairs WC.
Eighteen Byre
Sleeps 6 in 1 king, 1 double and 1 twin. The bathroom has a shower over bath and a wet room has a power shower.
Eight Byre
Sleeps 2 in studio double bed and there is a bathroom with a shower over bath.
Milking Parlour
Sleeps 4 in 1 king and 1 twin room. The bathroom has a shower over bath.
Onsite facilities include a laundry room, games/information room and refuse and recycling facilities.
This is ideal for exploring Allonby, home to a sandy beach and stunning views across the Solway Firth to Scotland. The Lake District fells are just a short drive away and there are some very good golf courses within easy reach including Silloth, which is a links championship course.
