Those of you who are regulars here know that I routinely plan breaks that don't quite happen. And that's the story again...sigh. Got a call Monday about a 3-4 week old abandoned kitten. The plan was for it to come to me just to get it started and then it would go to another foster with a singleton around the same age, so they would have playmates. Only the kitten turned out to be more like nine weeks old. So he stays with me. Luckily he is very sweet and makes endless biscuits (with his paws kneading things) so he got the name Biscuit! He must have been dumped or lost, cause he is very nice and a little thinner than he ought to be. But he's stashed in one of my ferret cages until he can be tested and dewormed. Meet Biscuit.

The good thing about him being older is that he can be neutered in about a month, and with any luck, we'll get him a home quickly. He's a cutie and very nice - rubs against my hand for pets. So, I wasn't looking for a kitten at this point, but at least he's a good one. Welcome little one!
