| Jennifer Oct 28 | While walking through Florence's historic centre, we noticed a storefront, Antica Porchetteria Granieri 1916 selling porchetta sandwiches. Porchetta is slow roasted pork roast, resulting in crispy skin and fatty, moist meat. Capocia (€ 6) - sandwich with roasted pork. We tried the Capocia, which is their basic option with just the roasted pork. They added drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle of sea salt. The sandwich is decent; sharable amongst two people if you're not too hungry. The bread was warmed up, albeit a little dry (I try not to waste food, but I did end up discarding the end of the bread once there was no more meat. I also wished the meat was also warm.
