Still getting used to this new pace. Although there are dozens of tasks I could choose from, I'm having a hard time getting motivated.
And what will become of my blog? Though I've never "monetized" it (meaning if you click on a live link and buy what you need, I might get paid a small commission), my readers still mean a lot to me.
You mean a lot to me.
Today, I might take a trip to Valemount to deliver some fencing that a friend bought months ago. Jacky owes a new pizzeria in that town, but sad for me, she's not open on Sundays. It's woodfired, so she and her husband can't simply whip up a pizza for me. 😉 Some day I'll get there for a dinner pizza with or without my dear Gary.
One of my pressing tasks this week was to "fix" my website. Someone phoned, remarking in a "smooth" voice that my site was still alive and well.
I would have fixed it to reflect my new status, if only I could remember my password for editing the site. Then, eventually I steeled my courage and sat at the desktop computer. Lo and behold, I remembered my username, and then the computer filled in the password! I still had to recall the other steps.
If all else failed, I could email or phone the man who hosts the Pet Hostel website and he would help me. We have talked on the phone in the past: he seemed fascinated with my business and spoke to me as a friend. He was "proud of" me for building a website by learning the coding language. That was a winter long ago: the simple site has served me well.

I think that link will work. I was not wishywashy when I stated on the main page that I am closed and retired. It is also clear on my Facebook page.

Full moon through the trees. My phone doesn't take a good photo. It was profound anyway.
I asked, "Should we check on the kitties?"
On with my day. I need to get busy to keep from stewing about the wars and natural disasters. All is well at home. 🤞
Love, Ann
