 | derrycats Oct 27 | We're headed home from vacation tomorrow, and had a relaxing week. Thanks, in part, to one of the fosters who has been taking care of Boots, by foster kitten with the bad eye. It hasn't improved this week so he went back to the vet today and got a new med, and hopefully things will get better for the poor guy. But since he was under the care of a retired vet all week I didn't worry too much. She sent me daily notes about him and her foster kittens going kayaking and bowling and other (imagined) adventures - very cute. In the meantime we have been having fun with Gracie (and Marley's brother and sister in law, and family)/ But Gracie is the photogenic one, so you're getting Gracie pictures today. She walked through a Halloween display, and caught sunbeams in the hotel room. We went up to Maine one day and walked a long trail on the oceanside and she visited with all sorts of people, the perfect therapy dog. One woman's dog had just died a few weeks ago, and Gracie really brought a smile to her face. Gracie enjoyed the beach but the waves weren't so much her thing! The hotel wi-fi is slow to upload my short video so I'll have to share that another time, but in the meantime, here's a quick overview of Gracie's vacation! Gracie is an excellent traveler and I think she's enjoyed being the center of attention for a week.
