Maya has left her physical body behind and is now running free with her sister Athena who was waiting for her. I know my Coqueta and Lilo embraced her in the pack. Anyone who met Maya loved Maya; it was impossible not to love her with those big doe eyes of hers. She had the biggest most generous heart which showed every time she met someone new or seen them again for the 100th time, you were going to get a present from her. She was an amazing swimmer, sister, protector and friend. She by far was the most intelligent four legged member of my family ever. Even when she lost the ability to use her back legs two years ago, it didn't stop her! She enjoyed her walks in her wheels, the beach and her ice cream cones always. She was a testament to everyone teaching always to live life to the fullest, because she sure did. She leaves a big hole in our hearts but she will never be forgotten and she knows that. She was a privileged princess who knew we had her back, literally, and there wasn't anything we wouldn't do for her. I know she will be waiting for us on the other side of that bridge but until then she will be running free and shaking that nubby♥️
