Yesterday morning, as I stoked the wood fire in my nightie, a burning ember flew out and landed on my left breast.
When this happened I didn't feel it until I thought that there was an insect biting my boob. ACK!
Weird thing was that, once in awhile, I had cautioned myself as the fire crackled and popped, "I'd better be careful I don't burst set myself aflame." 😬
My skin is virtually unscathed but there's a tiny hole in my nightwear.
A friend took a trip from McBride to Jasper on a rare weekend off. I've never taken this train ride, but it seems like a grand idea.

Today, we are caring for Rocky, Casey, Kona, Duke and Leigh … in other words, nearly a full house! That's the new Pet Hostel concept, though there are three smaller indoor-only kennels I could use.
I won't be giving up my dandy new office space. I replaced the tv that the cats broke, and the latest one gets wifi better, hence music and movie channels. I can get bookwork done on my iPad, make coffee, do laundry … almost live out there! No bed or bathroom though. 😉
Well, if I was "in the doghouse", I do have a camp cot … and the outhouse. Lol
We love each other. 🥰
The Pomeranians will go home later today.
Hope you have a lovely day.
