Got busy this morning and almost forgot to say hi!
In a world where bloggers and chatters and influencers have sometimes hundreds of thousands of followers and more, I'm so grateful to have 200+ fine friends to chat with on an almost daily basis.
Somebody might miss me. 😉🤞
After Sunday breakfast of French toast with blueberries, maple syrup and whipped cream (okay, that was Gary's, mine was a bit less carby), I caught up to emails, Facebook and brain quizzes.
I ran away from the news on the TV, conversations that my dear husband was having online aloud, and the general atmosphere in the house. The world is in a deplorable state.
I escaped to the kennel building again. Of course I had already been out before 6:30 to care for Rocky and BayVill.
The WiFi out here (where I'm still hanging out) is fleeting, and I don't know how to fix it. It works better when the weather is clear. I have a couple of "gizmos" that are supposed to boost internet reception and zero idea how to use them. Some day I will devote some time to sorting this out. There is a thing called "Hot Spot" whereby a device can use cell reception from another, thereby enabling WiFi.
What the heck … we pay our bills and I could poach some cell coverage to view reruns and old movies. 🤷🏼♀️
I've been trying to watch series and movies that I have seen before, while I putter and rearrange and dust. As I do this tidying, I am making the kennel office into as much a craft and sewing station as a space for office work, though I'm not terrible inspired about anything.
I'm finding items in ""storage" at the back of this building that I'd forgotten I have.
Sam and Yetta are having a standoff. The kitten is behind the curtain.
I've put up shelving for the sole purpose of amusing the cats. Nobody around here is very athletic (Yetta does the most climbing) and I had never seen Sam up there before.
Okay, the internet reception is too dismal to watch TV, so I'll just carry on sorting and tidying until lunchtime and a couple of errands.
Hope the rest of your day is lovely, with no first world problems or troubles of any kind. I have to assume if you are reading this blog, you are not devastated by famine and strife; I wish no one was or is.
Love, Ann
