Two …  | twasbrillig12 June 4 |  "Cameron" Last week was my Cameron's 8th Birthday. He celebrated with a carrot "cake," and the humans got a cookie cake. Later in the week Cam had a rough bladder expression for his sludge and was dealing with an inflamed urethra for a few days. Two more vet visits and some additional pain meds later, he's finally feeling better and almost has his full appetite back. He never had the greatest appetite to begin with, so a mediocre one is good for him. Hay is the most important part, and he's finally eating Timothy hay again. How can I tell if I don't actually see him eating the hay? Poops! His poops were tiny and few without hay, but once he starts chowing down on that fiber, poops bulk up and are plentiful.
