"Gov't is committed to community development"SA on Asset Recovery & Management CRS assures youths led by King of boys.
The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Asset Recovery and management Barr Gilbert Agbor has reiterate His Excellency,Sen Prince Bassey Edet Otu commitment to the development of communities,especially through recovery of Government Assets and enhancement of Community based properties owned by Government.
Barr Gilbert disclosed this during a high powered strategic meeting of Abia Community youths & stakeholders led by the member representing Abia Ward in the suplimentary Cocoa allocation Mr Augustine Amba Obaji AKA king of boys on Sunday evening being the 23rd of June at Ikom.
Taking their turns in addressing the special Adviser,Comr Cyril Ojong,Comr Elvis Amba,Comr Luke Amba the secretary of Abia town council and the the youths leader Mr Ntui Edoghane took time to Appreciate the Governor, the Secretary to the state government,the special Adviser on Asset Recovery & management & all leaders for giving the opportunity to the energetic leader to be part of the suplimentary Cocoa allocation members.
They explained their satisfaction in the sharing process of the recent 20 Hecters of Cocoa as the reason for collective peace in the community,hence appealing for even more greater responsibilities to be given to king of boys as their leader.
They also used the opportunity to call on more government presence & youths engagement in the community as time goes by decrying their experience over the years.
Responding to their request,Barr Gilbert assured them of Government commitment to community development through Asset Recovery & Effective management of Government properties event at the community level stating that, the people's first mantra of his Excellency is deeply youths oriented.
