I have spent another whole day shuffling photos. It's true that I have a consolidated some of the collections.
Even so, nothing is in chronological order any more. There are crossover categories: friends pictured with family, cousins with friends, some little people and adults that I don't recognize.
Every photograph must have been important at one time; after all, these were all before digital age when it cost plenty to have film printed.
It is poignant and exhausting.
For many years, I have had a memory of my dad looking victorious as he and Myrtle assembled a set of swings at the farm. I don't know if I ever properly expressed appreciation. For that or anything.
But I had this vision in my mind, and lo and behold … I had an actual photo of the moment!
Oh, our darling Dad. Notice Myrtle is still hard at work: she had the tools and just as much skill. 💪💕👏
I didn't get much gardening done yesterday, but I "saved" some container gardens from dying for lack of water.
