Yesterday, I started digging early and really gave myself a workout. I feel like I'm making progress, which I have said before in this blog. I've even said it other years.
I am really enjoying having time to renovate the flower beds, but my energy runs out.
One of my good friends of my age group said prophetically a couple years ago, "I want to accomplish this this year, because I don't know if I'll be able to do it next year."
I'll take that as a motto, at least for the time being. For now, I like the work and loving that I have my health and some stamina, and the results. We can cross that "next year" bridge when we come to it!
It's a mess
I've given away some horseradish.
I've given away daffodils.
In the middle of the mess: a gift from nature.
Columbine that just "volunteered".
Macey and Minna are boarding today, making a total of three doggy guests.
The view from Sandra James' yard.
