June ended up going in the right direction. Weight-wise.
I wasn't so sure at the halfway point.
June was the month of Burn. Lots of extra food and drink. Late nights. Late snacks.
Plus, visits from family and friends.
I refocused on the second half of the month.
Overall, my average weight was 205.2lbs.
Down about half a pound from May's average weight. It doesn't sound like much, but every little bit helps.
Highest weight was 209.8lbs. Lowest weight was 199.4lbs. First time I went under 200lbs this year!
Getting back into my running routine helps. And cutting out a lot of the extra carbs is helping.
I need to get that extra step of doing some weights. It's one component of the health regimen that I don't like. I've always been more of a cardio guy.
But there are a lot of benefits to weight bearing exercises from what I've read.
And I still need to be consistent with my sleep.
I've reset my alarm on my watch to remind me to go to bed at 11pm. But I tend to ignore it.
I'll try to be better this month.
