Yesterday I pulled out my new editions of the Mel Bay Guitar Method books, set up a practice area in my living room and started to get my hands and ear back in shape for playing guitar.
When I decided I wanted to play again, I knew my hands would be out of shape, I hadn't read music for AGES and I was worried about my ear ( in order to tune my guitar ). I decided to use the Mel Bay beginner books because they're basic and when I first learned guitar when I was 12, these were the books my teacher, Mr. Martin used.
