I love listening to audio books. I started doing it years ago when we would drive to Montreal. They helped keep me awake on the long trip.
Like TV, I find it hard to drift off if I'm listening to something.
The library is a great source of audio books. And now that you can borrow them online and download them to your phone…? Crazy pants!
I love it!!
Currently, I'm listening to Seth Godin's The Icarus Deception.
But I have a sinking feeling that I'm going to buy the book. A Kindle version, most likely.
So, that I can read it on my phone.
The problem is that Seth's books are mini essays. Probably gathered from his blog.
Interesting snippets of information or thought-provoking ideas.
And it's hard to rewind or find a particularly intriguing passage if you want to go back to it. On audio, that is.
So, my own copy of The Icarus Deception is likely in my future.
Because there are already a bunch of chapters that I want to revisit.
That's alright.
Seth's books are also very re-readable. Different thoughts will strike you on the next read or listen.
