| 2 August 2024: In Paris Sud at the Handball Stadium, the morning preliminary matches in women’s handball had victories for the Netherlands over Brazil 31:24 in Group B and Sweden over Korea 27:21 in Group A. In the afternoon sessions, the Hungary women’s handball team won their preliminary match in Group B against Spain in a score of 27:24. The French women’s handball team won over the Angola team in Group B in a score of 38:24. In the evening matches, Denmark had a close win over Germany in Group A with a score of 28:27, while Norway beat Slovenia in Group A 29:22. On 3 August, in Group B, France will play Spain; Hungary will play the Netherlands; and Brazil will play Angola in the next round.
