Everyone thinks their dog is cute. And of course, to them, they are cute.
But I'm not used to people stopping me to tell me my dog is cute. Or beautiful.
I think he's cute.
But it's weird to me to have other people confirm it, also.
Yesterday, four random people spoke to me about Dodger:
- "Brother, your dog is beautiful."
- "Mister, your dog is beautiful."
- "Your dog is so cute!"
- "I love your dog. He's so cute."
And what do I say? Thank you?
I didn't contribute to his cuteness in any way. So, it's weird saying "thank you."
But then what else would I say?
You're right? I agree? Yes, but he's often a rascal?
It's easier to say, "thank you."
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
I think Dodger is beautiful.
And apparently, so do other folks.
