This is an interesting start to the day. I've been awake since 3:15, bothered by nothing in particular. My shoulder doesn't even hurt acutely.
I didn't go to bed very early either, but I'll manage.

Yesterday was a very good day. There is nothing earthshaking to report about it, but I was busy all day with this 'n that.
I made a point of getting to the McBride Farmers Market. For the food truck, the lineup was long and the wasps were many, but the visiting was great! Ultimately, I took fish and chips home for our lunch, and Gary and I thought it was outstanding.
The park was so busy, and I talked to people I hadn't seen all summer.
Today is the Dunster Farmer's Market and I'm really looking forward to that. I don't always get there, but it's a great time.
Festus came yesterday for a short stay, Casey is here for a longer stay. We have a neighbour's dog who was not meant to board here, but he kept running from his home while his people are on vacation.
We have Minna, too, and the parrot Max. Later today, three more are coming just for overnight.
If I hadn't sold twelve kennels, I could be back "in the thick of it" right now. I had been trying to keep the number under three. This is awkward on several levels. 🤦🏼♀️
Dang me.
September has been typically quiet, so maybe soon I can spend more days just gardening. Okay, gardening, harvesting food and organizing. Also inventing stuff … such as better ways to store what I cannot bear to part with.
Hope your day and this long weekend is full of cheer and good food.
Love, Ann
