And just like that, August is over! The summer break is done, and my schedule will be full again.
Rehearsals. Choir. It's all starting back up again.
Because it will be so busy, I've decided on my priorities for September:
- Learning my lines for The Game's Afoot
- Work on my Weight Loss
- Work on a play to submit to The Hamilton Fringe Playwriting Contest.
I'm hoping to learn my lines for The Game's Afoot by the end of September. I plan to work on my lines daily for at least 15 minutes.
I hoping to get my weight down to 195lbs by the end of September. I'll continue doing the things that are working, like:
- Getting to bed by 11pm on most nights.
- Drinking plenty of water every day.
- Watching when and what I'm eating.
- Going for a run 3 times a week.
- I will also try to do some weight bearing and flexibility exercises, as well.
Now, the play to submit to The Hamilton Fringe Playwriting Contest… That's a little trickier. I plan to spend 15 minutes a day writing my play.
I will write and not over think everything.
Only, I don't know what the story is yet.
And I've been meaning to work on it for the last couple of months.
But I haven't. So, this is the challenge I must overcome. Getting myself to write.
The key is to keep these priorities top of mind. And do my daily tasks for them.
Slow and Steady.
Bring on September!
