After a year of being in the home and getting beat up by the resident cats, the adopter returned her to the shelter, but the shelter was at capacity at that point, and Tuluz was at risk, especially since she is a senior gal and having some health problems. Enter Loudon County Friends of Animals! They felt Tuluz deserved to live out her life, so they pulled her from the shelter and took her straight to the vet while asking us to help them. We covered her exam and diagnostics, which revealed a hyperthyroid. This condition is easily managed with medication, which has already begun. Tuluz will be shown at Petsense Lenoir City in a week or two in hopes of finding a forever home. | | | |
