I'm starting to feel "the fog" lifting. Going to bed early but getting up at the usual early-ish hour is helping.

Okay, so the whole day has gone by and I didn't finish my chat with you. Sorry.
My day has been … slightly unnerving. I'm not histrionic nor hypochondriac, but sometimes I wonder if my mental faculties are … slipping.
I took most of the morning to hang one small shelf. I couldn't even decide what method I wanted to use. And no, I did not want to ask for help.
I have two stud finders which worked last time I used them, right or ten years ago. I replaced the batteries in one.
I still missed the studs with three out of four screws and then finally used anchor screws.
Where is a stud when you truly need one? 😀
At any rate or number of hours, I wanted a "charging station" for tools. I wanted to make it out of materials I had on hand.
There had been a large shelving unit/bookcase in front of the outlet and the light switch. Since I added this lone shelf, I also fit a wire stand underneath. More efficient, and less likely to trip or "brain" someone. 🤷🏼♀️
Now I have even more crap good stuff to sort out.
I backed my truck up to the door so that it took fewer steps and less time to load items that could be used by someone else. The dump was closed today … but I'm ready for tomorrow with at least some things. 😅👍
The rest of the green, yellow and burgundy beans needed picking. I did that and pulled up the plants. I gathered some carrots and tiny beets for supper.
Every year in the garden, there is something to learn. Gary laughed when I promised not to plant as many sunflowers next year. They grew very fast from pencil thin and a few inches tall, to behemoths!
Almost every sunflower grew from six to ten feet tall. In my world, they are only for decoration: I could use more discretion.
Hope your day has been stellar.
Love, Ann
