The writer went into detail about why my views were offensive, told me how many academic degrees she has, and made (incorrect) assumptions about my finances and how much I have traveled around the country. My neighborhood is overwhelmingly blue, so it was the last thing I expected. Naturally, it was anonymous. Neighbors have every right to have political opinions I find offensive. They have the right to put up their own signs in their yards touring their own politics. I don't have to agree with those politics.
