Today I seem "fully booked" again, with four dogs boarding. I love this, for short periods of time. I continue to have some awkward conversations that arise from taking very few pets.
Yesterday, I skipped the last-of-the-season Dunster Market, with some sadness, but got plenty accomplished in the morning. I made a lunch of pork fried rice with lemon garlic shrimp, then I buggered off to take things to the swap shed and shop for groceries. After that, I started supper and watched TV.
We often roast two birds and freeze one…
Our own potatoes, scalloped
Last of our corn and the tiniest squash
I made Gary a chocolate cream pie too. All of the above should be enough for a few meals.

I might have shown you this already, my work in progress.
Cutlery boxes are great for storing our favourite things.

This is Sunday, and who knows what of many fall jobs we will choose. There's no ignoring the chill in the air now.
