My work buddy, a 20-pound coon cat, rests from a morning of fun after ruining my manuscripts or destroying work documents.
He finds it so exhausting to wait until just the right time, then his foot goes crazy on my keyboard.

It wasn't as bad as the time he managed to have his way with my keyboard. He erased an entire book, and saved the blank copy. Thankfully, I was able to restore all but 10 minutes of work.
After he erased my document, he gave me this look:

In fact, he just drank coffee out of my cup. I don't have a recent picture, so I'll share an older one. Note the rubber band around the phone; it's the only thing that keeps him from knocking the receiver off. He likes to hear the nice lady say (over and over and over again), "If you would like to make a call, please hang up and dial again."
How do I continue to love a beautiful creature who thinks ruining my work is a game?
He curls up with me at night, his purr is my peace, and I forgive all he has done during the day.
