Speaking for myself (and I hope Shelly), we had a couple of pleasant and fun days in Prince George.
She had a medical appointment, but we decided to make a bigger "deal" of the trip.
On Wednesday, we ate Vietnamese food, visited an antique store, and then went to a salon. Shelly had a hair cut 'n colour. I had a facial, and that seemed indulgent, lovely.
The salon offered adult and other beverages.
That was the second real facial (as opposed to a Mary Kaye demo) I'd had in my life! I felt like a million, though I didn't look different. It was worth doing.
We shopped at thrift shops, Canadian Tire, Costco, pet supply stores. Shelly and I tried to make our travels around Prince George efficient, fairly well organized. Her test at the hospital was almost incidental to the fun and shopping and dining.
Shelly and I thought we might be interested in visiting a casino, but decided we didn't want a long walk, a treacherous drive, or a cab ride. And we both fell asleep shortly after a light but late dinner. 🤷🏼♀️
Vietnamese "pho" (soup!)
Salad roll 😋
Gary "held the fort" very well of course, though in recent years it's unusual for me to be away at all.
Today I will have Skidboot to groom, and the vacation house to "ready" for the next health professional.
Last month, I held an "online" Epicure party. I earned … if we can call it that… about $200 worth of food mixes, seasonings and some freezer storage containers. I was so pleased! Epicure, sold like Tupperware™️, if you will, produces healthful, tasty food, and cookware.
I don't care if it's MLM, this Canadian company is a responsible one.
Hope your Friday is a good day.
Love, Ann
