How could it be Thursday again?
Despite winter setting in again, times still seems to fly. No more doldrums this week for me … I hope you are doing well too.
Yesterday morning, this sight greeted me when I opened the kennel building:
Damn cats … I parked this small box of sprouting potatoes in soil, where I had never seen my pets climb.
This was a very minor clean-up. There was no point in making a fuss as the cats were just waiting to greet me with love, waiting for fresh food. They always have food, but usually need at least the pretence of me adding new kibbles and/or opening cans. They prefer new water too.

I had to knock the snow off BayVill's outdoor kennel cover again. Some sticky wet snow fell before we had some more bitter cold: then yesterday the lighter snow built up some more. Now I'm really enthusiastic about Spring: it's almost March at least!
Other than BayVill being a houdini and an enthusiastic chewer, she is no trouble. She adores me, and I think if she did effect an "escape" indoors or outdoors, she would just come find us.
Yesterday was yet another day of this and that. I started a small project that will not be named yet (gift for a darling daughter), fixed a coat for a treasured friend, and watched some TV.
Gary had to go to town for a doctor's appointment, then later needed something for his project in his workshop. Guess who had wood glue and wood filler on hand? 🤚
So he didn't need to brave the blizzard again.
Despite waking up this morning again and still convinced I had some great thing to accomplish … I continue to have plenty of time to relax. One of these days I believe I will miss something important, but try as I might, I can't figure out what my subconscious or my dreams are trying to tell me.
I hope your day is fruitful or relaxing; it can be both!
Love, Ann
