Her name is Demetra Field and in a small island town in Washington state called Duwamish Bay she is wanted for the murder of her own Grandmother.
She used an ax, just like Lizzie Borden, but unlike Lizzie she didn't dispatch her victim with 40 wacks. Demetra Field did the job with one brutal swing and with one vicious twist she made a statement.
Do you know what really made people in Duwamish Bay really hate Demetra?
She killed a Wolf. Then she dressed it in her Grandmother's nightgown and jammed it into a sitting position in her Grandmother's rocking chair next to the fire place.
" I don't think there's a name for this kind of crazy. " Sheriff Jemma Longyear said to her deputy Hartley Smith on the evening they worked the crime scene.
The Wolf may have been dead, but it's eyes were focused in their direction and if it still had power to use it voice it would have heartily agree with them.
Hartley and Jemma stepped aside and let the Agnes from the Medical examiners office and her crew take Sophia and her many bits and pieces out on to their van.
" That's a new level of evil around here, that's for sure. " Hartley added as he wondered how Demetra had managed to bend and twist the Wolf's body into position in the chair.
" Wait. " Jemma and and Hartley heard one of Agnes' workers from outside say, " make sure she's zipped up. "
" I think we have a real problem here. " Jemma said.
The Wolf agreed, but at the moment he wasn't able to say so.
