OMG! We had so much fun.
Though it would not be our husbands' idea of a good time, Wendy and I went to three Salvation Army thrift shops, Value Village, two Hospice House stores, two bonafide antique stores and a renovation outlet.
I found eight cutlery boxes: now I can shut up about them, right? 😉
Also, I bought a few nice boxes that are actually designed to store and protect photographs. Those were super cheap.
I might have cutlery or chotchkes in the photo boxes and photos in the flatware chests. Who cares anyway?
My shoulder was bothering me late in the day. I was tired and ready to go home, though the trip was pleasant and in excellent company.
Not even half of our haul … back seat is full too.

This morning I was very sore. My injury from falling would have been aggravated if I had stayed home working in the yard, so … "no regrets" about the jaunt to Prince George.
We are enjoying some beautiful summer-like days. Today looks promising:
View from hot tub at 4:30 am.
Today, Saturday, might not be restful, but I'll try to pace myself and will use my sore shoulder as an excuse.
I sold the last kennel "out front" earlier this week. I'll help load the heavy, unwieldy panels because Gary plans to participate in a work bee for the horse club.
Where the kennels stood in the front yard, there is still precious Virginia Creeper to relocate. I don't want to waste any of it! I wouldn't mind if half the house was covered by the hardy vine, but that wouldn't be Gary's preference. To some people, that would be, well, just too "creepy". 😀
In my life, I have wasted lots of time and wasted plenty of energy. These days I wish I had more get-up-and-go for the spare time I have freed up.
Youth is wasted on the young, they say. Now much of my "get up and go" somehow got up and went.
I'm grateful for relatively good health and the energy and enthusiasm I do have.
Hope you have an excellent day.
Love, Ann
