When adding some new books to it yesterday, I realized the inside of the library was wet. The door had been tightly shut. Besides, It had not rained, and the door has never leaked before. Water was on the floor and ceiling inside the box, and most of the books were drenched. For a moment, I was mystified. Then I noticed the remnants of several water balloons. Someone opened the door and hurled water balloons inside, hard enough to burst open. I had to throw out 21 books with serious water damage. I am trying to dry out a few others that were only slightly dampened, and I am hoping they can be salvaged. What are the thoughts that run through someone's head when they decide that it is a good idea to destroy books that are here for the whole neighborhood to enjoy?
