The Ford Motor Company (commonly known as Ford) is one of the worlds oldest motor companies and has been manufacturing cars since June 16, 1903. As you might expect in that time there have been plenty of models and variations of their vehicles, but none rarer than those you are about to see. Ford Fairlane 500 R Code
while the car itself does not look all that unusual it was one of just 57 made and each of them was equipped with a massive 425Hp engine. In the '60s that was completely unheard of!
Ford Skyranger
You could be the biggest fan of Ford cars and trucks, but still not heard of this model because only 20 were ever made! Yes, it really is a convertible truck with an extended cab as a basis.
Ford Mustang McLaren M81
If you like your 80's muscle cars you might kind of recognise those model, but not quite. Only ten cars were made in this style and it was designed with a monstrous engine and crazy rare body folds.
Ford Airstream
It might look like something of a modern concept car, but this was a potential model of which 3 models were made and it was made in the early 90's! If you look closely as the designs you can see the moon buggy style it was inspired on.
1994 Ford PowerStroke
While only two of these concept designs were ever made it was supposed to represent a modern beach buggy, only with a ute style bed for your surfboard and things. I kind of like the wave effect going on as it makes it look quite modern despite its age.
Ford Model A
this post would not have been complete without a look at the first car produced by the Ford Motor Company. This is the Ford Model A and it was made way back in 1903! and cost just $750 (which was a lot back then).
Ford Mustang Mclaren M81
Inspired of course by its F1 counterpart this car is as sleek as cars come and was designed to be a way for racing fans to own a piece of the track car. While it didn't take off all that well, it does make those few that have survived very rare indeed.
Ford GT40
This is often described as the most cramped, loud and uncomfortable car Ford ever made, but it is the rarest of all the Ford vehicles. Only 133 were ever made and now only a handful of them are known to still be operational making this very valuable indeed.
1932 Ford Speedster
We go way back in time now to 1932 for this one of a kind speedster that looks slightly distorted. With its unconventionally pointed, split-post windscreen it was not seen as "modern" enough at the time, but is one of the rarest of the older model Fords.
Ford Super Duty Sedan
Made by a private firm under the Ford brand this weird car looks like two cars have been cut in half and welded back together. It was designed to be comfortable, but yet still be used as a utility vehicle. What an odd-looking truck for sure.
