The Hamilton Fringe starts in two weeks or so.
And the onslaught will begin. Folks blasting social media to try to get you to their show.
People coming up to you while you're waiting in line for shows.
Eager folks handing out flyers or cards in the streets.
I know. I've been there. And I'll be there again.
I don't have a show in the Fringe this year, but some of my friends are in shows.
I haven't seen the program list yet. But it's available.
I'll look soon. Make a preliminary list of what looks interesting.
But it's the desperation of some of the artists that I feel bad for.
The ones begging you to see their show.
Especially out-of-towners.
How do you get folks to that don't know you to go see your show?
Man, it's hard enough to get folks that know you to see your show.
Maybe I should try to see some shows that don't sound interesting to me at all.
I'm going to percolate on that…
